People are orientated always for individual benefits as first, then for common benefits. This is not about behaviour, this is nature. People are a bit like animals, stronger want and will win.

You can want change this, this is nice and good, but you can not change nature and people !! Communist idea is not stronger than law of nature.

We had it in old Czechslovakia, from first time it was nice and wonderful, like you are writing and thinking.. but it will not take long time to system start be collapsing. why ? Because people are people, you can not change them

I can write more about productivity... will be ALWAYS lower then in system based on individual benefits... but this can show you even history, not me.

In erep it is same, you can work for 1skk, but somebody will always be up and deciding what to do with gold. You can tell, not one man, but we all :-D but we know that always just small group of people will be deciding what to do.

But, anyway, if not one man but wholo community will be managing communes togheter, there MUST and WILL BE always different opinions on what to to with gold, and you have again problem....

this is for long dicsussion, but I know true about communist, I lived in it... nice from first time, very ugly later... not because people were bad...no... idea is bad, not based od real nature laws :-)

people are the way they are because of the society they live in. Society has been capitalistic for over two hundred years. Everything branches off from there. Institutions, Governments, and even the family unit. The reason people are oriented for individual benefits is because of the society we have been brought up in. We have to be that way in order to survive in a capitalist market. It's survival of the fittest. The best and brightest get the best education and make the most money. In most cases. You can even argue that it is human animalistic nature, as you have, to be that way. But not everyone is that way. You can't say that they are, because you don't know every single individual on the planet earth, and even if you did, you can't really know any of their minds. Unfortunatley, since our society is set up the way it is, it is usually those types of people that get to the top of the social ladder. That is why it "seems" that everyone thinks in that manner, that is why it is so hard to change anything.

I don't agree with you, if everybody had your mind set nothing would ever change, and we all know throughout history social movements have come and gone and incorporated major changes on many different societies, often against incredible odds. So we must agree to disagree it seems.

Next world revolution like 1848 or maybe world war would speed things up...in this world is hard to destroy capitalism...it's hard to communist countries because of their isolation :S

I honestly haven't seen a RL communist nation that was actually a communist nation. All I have seen are dictatorships masquarading as Communist. If a situation occured where Socialist/Communist policies were implemented without tyranny, which is a distortion of Marx's Dictatorship of the Proletariat, which by the way is outdated, and Marx would agree with that I'm sure. He is known for approving of tailoring ideals to the times they exist in. Anyway, if policies were implemented correctly, I think public opinion of Socialism/Communism would change, and it could become more widespread without the use of violence. Which is something I am an advocate of.
